(Toronto, ON, November 23, 2018) – Shift Recycling Inc. is pleased to announce the acquisition of Artex Environmental into the Shift Group of Companies. The purchase represents the next phase of Shift’s rapid growth.

Shift welcomes the Artex team into the Shift family. E-waste from Artex customers will be processed at Shift’s state-of-the-art recycling facility at 700 Ormont Drive, Toronto ON. In excess of 3.5 million pounds are recycled at this site monthly, making it one of the busiest electronics recycling facilities anywhere in North America.
Shift’s acquisition of Artex comes as Shift’s ITAD brand (Revolution) continues growing its enterprise business, servicing VARs, banks, institutions, and Fortune 500 companies to maximize the value of their retired assets, while protecting the environment and minimizing data liability risk. The combination of Revolution’s secure ITAD services and Shift’s compliant end of life recycling is a winning service proposition for a growing roster of clients.
