In the year following the move to their new 125,000 sq. ft. facility, Quantum has made more improvements in key areas. Diamond summarizes the changes as improving efficiency through lowering costs, improving consistency and cleanliness of output quality, and reducing health and safety risks.

- Installed a state-of-the-art shredding line with more machines to improve cost efficiency and separation quality.
- Hired a full-time Director of IT Systems and Development to aid in the system for capturing and reporting real time data.
- Introduced new triage areas to further refine the products they process and/or sell.
- Introduced a dedicated processing line for flat panel displays as this category of recycling continues to grow as a percentage of incoming volume.
- Introduced mechanical conveyors at the front end of the sorting process to improve efficiency and reduce health and safety risks.
- Improved the lighting to upgrade the general atmosphere.
- Upgraded the number of electric battery-operated forklifts.
- Continued to put resources into optimizing warehouse flow and layout.
