Surrey is a large and geographically diverse city. It is one of the fastest-growing towns in British Columbia– a leader in creating vibrant, sustainable communities founded upon technology and innovation. As an example of Surrey’s commitment to sustainable development, the groundbreaking Surrey biofuel facility was opened in 2018.

Surrey is also home to over 40 companies that make up about 10% of British Columbia’s cleantech sector. It is at the forefront of advancing environmentally-sensitive solutions.
