Asset Disposition and Electronics Recycling service provider, has acquired all of the assets of REfficient Inc., which specializes in equipment reuse in the telecom sector. The addition of REfficient’s specialized expertise in the reuse of telecom gear and their sustainability initiatives complements Quantum’s existing expertise in I.T. Asset Disposition and Electronics Recycling.

Quantum is retaining all of REfficient’s full-time staff including REfficient Founder & CEO Stephanie McLarty. Ms. McLarty, who is joining the leadership team at Quantum as Head of Sustainability commented, “Since starting the company 11 years ago, I’m really proud of what my team has accomplished. We’ve ensured over 150,000 assets were reused annually in recent years and have been leaders in sustainability. The existing REfficient operation will continue out of the Hamilton, Ontario location and the REfficient brand will continue to operate as a separate business unit within Quantum.
