- Pricing & Payment Conditions
The services and pricing are based on the information provided by the client at the time of booking. Payment is required in advance and is processed via credit card.
Final charges may be adjusted if actual site conditions or service requirements differ from what was disclosed by the client, including but not limited to additional equipment, stairs, packing assistance, or the need for a lift gate. Any such adjustments will be communicated to the client and charged using the original payment method on file, unless otherwise agreed.
Quantum may withhold reports, certificates, or other service documentation until full payment of all applicable charges has been received.
- Site Access & Service Conditions
The client is responsible for ensuring safe, timely, and uninterrupted access to all pickup areas during the scheduled service window. Delays due to access restrictions, security clearance requirements, on‑site preparation, or the unavailability of the designated on‑site contact may result in additional charges or rescheduling.
Unless white‑glove or packing services are requested, the client is responsible for preparing and staging all equipment in a manner safe for removal.
Quantum reserves the right to refuse or terminate service if site conditions present safety concerns or if the equipment differs substantially from what was disclosed.
- Equipment Accepted & Prohibited
Quantum cannot accept hazardous material, including but not limited to fluorescent or mercury‑containing lamps, EV batteries, compressed gases, or aerosols.
Quantum may capture photos or documentation of equipment, serial numbers, or site conditions for verification, reporting, or compliance purposes. Such documentation will not be shared externally without client consent unless required by regulation or audit.
- Data Security & Equipment Handling
All data-bearing assets will be sanitized using industry-standard data wiping methods prior to reuse or resale. Devices that cannot be sanitized will be physically destroyed as part of Quantum’s end-of-life recycling services, rendering all data unrecoverable.
Quantum reserves the right to repurpose or resell equipment in accordance with its policies and certifications.
- Ownership & Title Transfer
Title to all equipment transfers to Quantum upon physical pickup, unless otherwise contractually agreed.
The client warrants that all equipment provided is free of liens or third‑party ownership claims.
Quantum cannot verify the type, condition, or completeness of equipment until it arrives at a Quantum facility. Itemized details may not be available for all service types, and Quantum makes no guarantee that equipment can be validated or individually reconciled against client‑provided lists.
- Liability
Quantum’s liability is limited to the fees paid for the services rendered. Quantum is not responsible for loss of data on devices submitted for wiping or destruction, nor for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.
Quantum is not liable for delays or inability to perform services caused by events outside its reasonable control, including severe weather, labor disruptions, transportation outages, natural disasters, or other unforeseen circumstances.
- Cancellations & Scheduling Changes
Quantum reserves the right to charge up to the full amount of the service for cancellations or rescheduling within 48 business hours of the appointment.
