Once you drop off your hard drive for data destruction at Quantum, it's journey is just beginning. We use a 9-step method to ensure not only that all of your personal and professional data that was stored on the hard drive is destroyed and that the various parts of the hard-drive are disposed of correctly and precious minerals are recycled.

Data destruction refers to destroying magnetic and optical media, including disks, tapes, and flash media such that the information cannot be read, accessed or used. As we shall see, simple deletion is not a reliable means of data destruction.
