Quantum’s community involvement program operates through four key initiatives that maximize our positive impact while supporting our mission of creating a true circular economy:
Education and Awareness
Quantum recognizes that transforming behavior towards a true circular economy begins with education and awareness. We invest in staff education on the importance of the circular economy, responsible electronics management, and proper collection channels.

Community Collection Events
Quantum partners with local organizations to coordinate impactful e-waste recycling events. These community-focused initiatives serve a dual purpose: collecting electronics for responsible recycling while raising funds for the organizing group.
We provide comprehensive marketing and logistics support to ensure each event’s success. Quantum has proudly supported schools, churches, sports teams, and various community groups in organizing these beneficial collection events.
Donations of Technology
Quantum actively works to bridge the digital divide by facilitating donations of computers, tablets, and other IT devices to those who need them most. We believe in the power of technology to transform lives and create opportunities.
As a proud partner of reBOOT Canada, we help provide computers and training to people with limited access to technology, ensuring that valuable resources reach those who can benefit most from them.
Looking for an IT Equipment Donation for Your Organization?
Quantum prioritizes requests based on the following criteria:
- The request is made by a non-profit organization
- The recipients face systemic barriers that limit their access to communication technologies
- A clear deployment plan is provided to ensure technology reaches those who need it most
- The recipients reside in regions where our employees and/or customers live
- Quantum has the desired equipment available or will within the next three months
Want to Donate Your Organization’s IT Equipment?
Quantum can facilitate technology donations or the monetary equivalent, allowing charities to acquire exactly the equipment they need. Our closed-loop system benefits everyone involved while maximizing positive impact.
Employee Volunteering
Quantum employees actively engage with their communities through our annual Earth Week Challenge. Held every April, this initiative encourages all Quantum sites to organize activities that benefit both local communities and the planet.
Each year features a new theme, creating friendly competition between our various locations. Additionally, Quantum employees can receive up to one day of paid time off annually by volunteering for circular causes, further demonstrating our commitment to sustainability beyond our business operations.
