Alors que les entreprises cherchent \u00e0 renforcer leurs strat\u00e9gies environnementales, sociales et de gouvernance d\u2019entreprise (ESG), l\u2019accent est mis davantage sur la durabilit\u00e9 et l\u2019efficacit\u00e9 \u00e9nerg\u00e9tique dans les centres de donn\u00e9es. Voici un aper\u00e7u plus approfondi des d\u00e9fis actuels de l\u2019efficacit\u00e9 \u00e9nerg\u00e9tique dans les centres de donn\u00e9es et des solutions possibles.  <\/p>\n<h2>Durabilit\u00e9 \u00e9nerg\u00e9tique des centres de donn\u00e9es : d\u00e9fis actuels et futurs<\/h2>\n<p>Faire fonctionner un centre de donn\u00e9es demande une \u00e9nergie et une eau immenses. Bien que le mat\u00e9riel \u00e0 l\u2019int\u00e9rieur du centre de donn\u00e9es n\u00e9cessite une \u00e9nergie consid\u00e9rable pour fonctionner, la principale source de consommation d\u2019\u00e9nergie provient du refroidissement \u00e0 l\u2019aide de syst\u00e8mes de climatisation. <\/p>\n<p>Actuellement, les centres de donn\u00e9es sont responsables <a href=\"https:\/\/www.aflhyperscale.com\/articles\/what-makes-hyperscale-hyperscale\/\">de 3% de la consommation mondiale d\u2019\u00e9lectricit\u00e9<\/a>, et ce chiffre devrait augmenter \u00e0 4% d\u2019ici 2030. En plus de l\u2019\u00e9lectricit\u00e9, certaines grandes installations peuvent consommer <g id=\"gid_1\">des millions de gallons d\u2019eau<\/g> par jour pour le refroidissement. Dans certaines r\u00e9gions, les centres de donn\u00e9es ont \u00e9t\u00e9 li\u00e9s \u00e0 des s\u00e9cheresses dans les communaut\u00e9s voisines.  <\/p>\n<p>Pour compliquer les choses, ce ne sont pas seulement les centres de donn\u00e9es eux-m\u00eames, mais aussi les appareils qui les remplissent qui contribuent \u00e0 leur empreinte carbone croissante. Les routeurs, commutateurs, serveurs, syst\u00e8mes de stockage et autres composants g\u00e9n\u00e8rent tous des \u00e9missions de carbone lors de la fabrication, et lorsqu\u2019ils atteignent la fin de leur dur\u00e9e de vie, ils finissent souvent dans les sites d\u2019enfouissement comme d\u00e9chets \u00e9lectroniques. Pourtant, les entreprises s\u2019inqui\u00e8tent de l\u2019impact environnemental de leur informatique en nuage, et une surveillance r\u00e9glementaire accrue est imminente.   <\/p>\n<h2>Fa\u00e7ons d\u2019augmenter l\u2019efficacit\u00e9 \u00e9nerg\u00e9tique dans les centres de donn\u00e9es<\/h2>\n<p>Alors que les organismes de r\u00e9glementation et les entreprises augmentent leur attention sur la consommation d\u2019\u00e9nergie dans les centres de donn\u00e9es, il existe certaines solutions sur lesquelles diff\u00e9rentes parties peuvent collaborer pour rendre ces installations plus efficaces.<\/p>\n<h3>S\u00e9lection strat\u00e9gique de l\u2019emplacement du centre de donn\u00e9es<\/h3>\n<p>\u00c9tudier les fluctuations des \u00e9nergies renouvelables telles que le solaire et l\u2019\u00e9olien peut aider les entreprises TI \u00e0 prendre des d\u00e9cisions bas\u00e9es sur les donn\u00e9es lors du choix des emplacements de centres de donn\u00e9es.
